African drums, balafons and movement in a specialist SEND session for young people aged 5–17. A small group of up to 10, led by Ujhasuma Africa CIC artistic director Obase-Aboli, exploring rhythm and expression at each participant’s own pace.
Free for young people with EHCP+ funding. A SEND place without EHCP+ funding is £35. Participants may be accompanied by a parent or carer.
Accessibility
Specialist SEND provision. The venue has an accessible toilet, wheelchair access, a hoist and changing bench, and sensory/quiet spaces in a secure environment. Staff are autism-awareness and PECS trained, and can provide personal care and two-to-one support.
